Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need my original frame?

We strongly recommend sending your original frame along with your lenses. It gives us additional reference points for the bridge, frame dimensions, and overall fit. If your original frame is unavailable, we may still be able to create a replacement using your lenses.

Can you replace any frame?

We can work with many standard prescription lenses, but not every lens is compatible. Once we receive your glasses, we'll inspect the actual lenses and original frame to determine whether we can manufacture a suitable replacement. No payment is collected until compatibility is confirmed.

Do I need to remove my lenses?

No. If your lenses are still installed in your broken frame, leave them in place. Send the frame and lenses to us as they are, and we'll handle the removal and fitting process.

Do I need to mail my glasses?

Yes. FormFix works directly from your physical lenses to provide a more accurate and reliable fit. Request your prepaid shipping label, securely package your lenses and original frame, and send them to us for inspection.

How long does the process take?

Once we receive your glasses and confirm compatibility, we'll send you a payment link. After payment, manufacturing typically takes 1–2 business days. Your lenses are then fitted into your new frame, inspected, and shipped back to you.

Shipping/transit time is separate from the 1–2 business day manufacturing time.

What if the new frame doesn't fit properly?

Because we have your physical lenses, we'll fit and inspect them in your new frame before shipping it back to you. If you experience a fitment issue after receiving your glasses, contact us within 14 days. We'll review the issue and work with you to make it right, which may include an adjustment, repair, or replacement frame.
